First Merchant Services has launched a new website focusing on their partnership with United Bank Card (UBC). The alliance with one of the most estimable U.S. payment processors will allow First Merchant Services to provide to retail and hospitality merchants free cash registers with fully integrated credit card processing.

A representative of First Merchant Services likened the new offering to a stimulus package for small businesses and noted that over one billion dollars was spent by retailers and hospitality merchants on credit card machines and cash registers just last year.

Now, any businesses that opens a merchant account with First Merchant Services will receive a coveted electronic cash registers (ECR), with fully-integrated credit card processing, at absolutely no charge. Even replacement machines will be provided for free if a cash register malfunctions or breaks, a as long as the business continues to hold a merchant account with First Merchant Services. Also important to note is that via the UBC partnership, First Merchant Services offers some of the lowest transaction processing rates possible and a full suite of merchant services such as check guarantee, merchant account management and gift and loyalty cards.
