PayPal Updates to Payflow Pro

PayPal has issued an announcement that they are upgrading the payment gateway for Payflow Pro with a new SSL server certificate hierarchy, in order to improve security for the product.

By September of this year PayPal will begin to phase out the current gateway server certificates and customers may be required to update their product integration to the direct HTTP interface or version 4.3 (or higher) of the Software Development Kit.

Instructions for the upgrades are available on the Paypal website. Information will be provided by email to all affected Payflow Pro customers.
