Certified Payment Processing – It Was a Good Year
Despite the fact that 2009 is recognized as having been a historically poor year for business, there are companies that are experiencing growth. One such company is Certified Payment Processing (CPP), a full service provider of electronic payment processing equipment and merchant services, which experienced increases that were record-breaking.
“Our success is an indication we’re providing the right products and services to our merchants,” says Tony Norrie, General Manager and VP. “Business owners are always looking for ways to save money, but equally important is for them to find ways to make it easier for customers to do business with them. We tailor solutions to help them increase revenue, satisfy their customer needs, improve efficiency and control costs.”
Last month the company shared final numbers with their employees and it was revealed that new merchant activations were up almost 15 percent over 2008 and processing equipment installations jumped 30 percent. The company also was able to grow their staff, adding seven percent, rather than having to face layoffs like so many other companies did last year. CPP has over 500 sales consultants throughout the country, who are supported by more than 300 office employees, located at two different facilities.
